Meet Dr. Wilkinson

Dr. Gregory T. Wilkinson graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee receiving a B.A. degree in Anthropology. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and completed his Pediatric Dental residency at U. T. Graduate Pediatric Dentistry Department.

He then went on to complete his Orthodontic residency at New York University Graduate Orthodontics Department where he was awarded the residents’ top honor, the “Theodore L. Jerrold Award“. Dr. Wilkinson also has extensive training in craniofacial anomalies concerning both Orthodontic and Pediatric Dental needs. In 2021 Dr. Wilkinson was voted Memphis’ Top Dentist.

Dr. Wilkinson is the Only Dual Trained Orthodontist and Pediatric Dentist in private practice.

 Dr. Wilkinson has been awarded the “Outstanding Young Dentist” by the Memphis Dental Society. He also serves as an official spokesperson for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and is a founding member of Memphis Gridiron Ministries. Dr. Wilkinson has also served on the board and executive committee of Memphis Center for Urban Theological Studies (MCUTS).

Dr. Wilkinson is the son of Dr. Charles E. Wilkinson and serves as successor of his long-standing practice. Dr. Wilkinson and his wife, Cissy, have three wonderful children, Rucker, Townes, and Elle. Cissy’s family also has a tradition in dentistry. Both her father and grandfather were dentists. This year, 2022, marks 100 years of dentistry between the two families. Dr. Wilkinson and his wife are very involved in church, school, and community activities. Dr. Wilkinson is also an officer at Second Presbyterian Church, as well as a member of Presbyterian Day School’s Board of Trustees.
